What began in 1921 as Austria’s first porcelain factory is now a global technology provider for emission control and thermal energy processes. Our two product lines, SCR catalysis and thermal energy storage, have both grown out of the same foundation in materials science.

Our in-house value chain extends from research and material development to our own metalworking center, where Ceram manufactures its production tools, and on to series production. This creates a level of independence that pays off directly in quality, delivery reliability, and development speed.

Sustainability & Responsibility

Sustainability begins with our own production, where resource-efficient manufacturing processes, the use of renewable energy, and a consistent circular approach are standard practice. Furthermore, according to our own estimates, Ceram products used worldwide prevent the emission of approximately 5 million metric tons of CO₂ and 125,000 metric tons of nitrogen oxides each year.
