Unlike many industrial companies, Ceram Austria makes its most significant contribution to sustainability not alongside production but through it: SCR catalysts, honeycomb bodies, and ceramic heat storage media help operators reduce pollutants and use energy more efficiently.

We continue this commitment at our own site. In Frauental, we combine local value creation with low-emission energy: a large-scale photovoltaic system on the factory roofs supplies production directly on-site. This is complemented by a certified management system for quality, environment, energy, and occupational safety, which systematically ensures the responsible use of resources.

Our company fire brigade: Protection that is not delegated.

Working with high-temperature processes and industrial plants entails a special responsibility for people and the site. Ceram Austria therefore has its own company fire brigade, which is ready for action around the clock and can act immediately in an emergency, without relying on external response times.

Our firefighters are company employees who train regularly and know the facility from daily operations. This combination of technical expertise and tactical firefighting training makes the decisive difference. It reflects a safety culture that does not stop at paper but is practiced every day.
