Ceram plate-type catalysts consist of a catalytically active coating based on titanium dioxide, vanadium, and tungsten oxides, rolled onto an expanded stainless steel mesh produced in-house. The coated plates are assembled into element boxes and combined into large steel modules.<\/p>\n

The wide, rectangular flow channels with minimal edge content ensure optimal flow dynamics, minimal dust accumulation, high erosion resistance, low SO\u2082 conversion, and low pressure drop. BBased on over 15 years of continuous material and process development, our technology today ensures reliable operation in hundreds of successfully operated plants worldwide.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n

    Ceram Austria offers full flexibility in product composition; the number of plates, plate spacing, plate length, and catalyst type are determined depending on the dust load, flue gas conditions, operating temperature, and space requirements.<\/span><\/span> Expanded metal production, coating, element assembly, and module packaging take place exclusively at the Frauental production site. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    PLATE & COATING<\/span><\/p>\n

    Expanded stainless steel mesh in steel grades 1.4016 \/ 1.4301<\/p>\n

    The ceramic active mass (TiO\u2082 + WO\u2083 + V\u2082O\u2085) is automatically rolled onto the expanded mesh. The vanadium content can be adjusted in three catalyst formulations between 0.3% and 2.0% V\u2082O\u2085. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    ELEMENT BOXES<\/span><\/p>\n

    66 \u2013 87 plates per element<\/p>\n

    The coated plates are assembled into element boxes fully automatically in Ceram's modern production facility. Depending on the process requirements and installation situation, both the number of plates per element and the plate length can be adjusted. Between 66 and 87 plates per element box and a plate length of 500 to 1,000 mm enable tailor-made solutions for your project. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    STEEL MODULE<\/span><\/p>\n

    Available in standardized and customized versions<\/p>\n

    The element boxes are installed in standardized steel modules manufactured in-house at the site for efficient integration into the SCR reactor. Customized module cross-sections are available on request. Ceram handles the design of the modules and, if required, also supplies the necessary grating covers, sealing plates, and lifting gear for installation. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

    MANUFACTURING IN AUSTRIA<\/h3><\/div><\/div>\n\n

    From raw material weighing to delivery.<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

    The plate-type catalyst is created in a manufacturing process tailored to the coating technology. In six controlled steps, each element is fully manufactured at the Frauental site, enabling complete quality control and traceability from raw material receipt to operation in the power plant. <\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n
